Meet the Team

Megan Montgomery has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University and has been professionally practicing since 2006 in Texas, DC Metro, and Louisiana. Her career in Landscape Architecture started with luxury commercial design in The Woodlands, TX. Upon graduation, she moved with the company she interned with in Texas to Northern Virginia where she gained superior knowledge in horticulture and landscape construction. Upon returning home to Louisiana, Megan worked in New Orleans continuing commercial landscaping until opening her own business in 2017.

Megan's lush landscape designs are a staple of her creativity with nature, where she uses lots of native vegetation in her plant palette. These designs are full of texture, hierarchy and color, and the plants are adaptable to the heat and wetlands. Her specialty to detail, whether it is hardscape or softscape, and the efforts to achieve a look that's timeless and sustainable, is proven through her methodically planned out designs

Because the fragrance from the blooms and vegetation of the deep south remind Megan so much of home, she created a candle line to mimic Louisiana's most favorable native plants, Magnolia, Azalea, Camellia, Swamp Palmetto, Iris and Live Oak. Megan was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana and graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School in 2001.
